Does the healthstaffconnect.com “Refer A Colleague” system keep store my private email login information and password?
Healthstaffconnect.com will not store your password after we import your colleagues', friends, and families information. We may use the email addresses you upload through this importer to help you connect with colleagues, including (within future applications) using this information to generate suggestions for you and your contacts on healthstaffconnect.com.

Do I have to register as a candidate or employer to use the site?
The short answer is no. However, we have set up the site to be a quick and easy way for employers to match with perspective candidates. With that in mind, we encourage every individual to sign up as a candidate just in case they are ever in a position where they become unemployed and may not feel like creating a profile at that moment; but would love to put themselves in a position to find employment immediately. Furthermore for those individuals who are employed but may be looking to pick up extra hours - they can immediately make themselves available for perspective employers by signing up as a candidate now.

How do I register as a candidate or employer

link and the instructions that follow. After registering you may make updates to your general profile and create an employment profile by accessing the
shortcuts area to the left of the profile page.
How do I change my password?
There is a link entitled "Forgot Password?" under the username textbox of each login area. Click that link and follow the directions.
What current applications do users have access to and what future applications/development is underway?
Health Staff Connect is excited to be able to offer this site as a "one stop resource" for all things "healthcare industry professional". Please click this
link to find out what application we currently have available to our users and what future applications/development are in the works.
Do I have to be seeking employment or seeking to fill a position in order to become a member of the site?
The short answer is "no"!
However, the unique characteristic this site offers is that unlike most networking sites, we have added the practical, completely web based staffing component. On this site you either register as a Candidate (an individual who works directly or indirectly within the healthcare industry, whether you are currently seeking employment or not) or an employer (someone in charge of the staffing function for the business; whether you are currently seeking to hire qualified Candidates or not). Don't be alarmed, you are not required to be a Candidate looking for a job or an Employer looking to fill an open position to be on this site. You can sign up, create your personal AND professional profile (at one time) and simply take advantage of all the networking resources we have. However, if you ever find yourself in the position of need, you'll not need to create a secondary account. All you'll need to do is list yourself as available to open opportunities (Candidates) or seeking qualified candidates (Employer).
The website has been released in Beta version; what does that mean?
The term "beta" refers to a piece of software or web application that's still being developed. The site is completely functional and it is not a testing site. Users information will not be lost and is stored securely. However, the site is still in development and is being updated daily. We expect a full live launch in January 2011
